Keeping June’s Safe

With the recent Government advice around the COVID-19 virus and measures that have been taken to combat the spread of this, Applejack Hospitality would like to take this opportunity to document our own company policies and procedures around the issue.

The three principles behind this company strategy are categorised as follows: 

  • To keep our employees/company informed, compliant, safe and healthy whilst in the workplace; 

  • Ensure we have measures in place to limit the spread of the virus within our business models; 

  • Outline the actions the company has in place should there be a suspected or confirmed outbreak within the workplace; 

OUR POLICIES

Hand Sanitisation

We will ensure we have ample hand sanitising stations available for staff and customers to use while visiting us. 


Signage

We will have plenty of signage and floor decals to ensure all customer maintain 1.5 metres distance from others.


CafE Cleanliness

We are doubling down on cleaning and have implemented a rigorous cleaning checklist in place for our external cleaning companies and staff.


We are committed to providing a safe environment for all employees with constant training, information updates and communication around the current COVID-19 situation.

EMPLOYEE TRAINING


We can only take card transactions right now, and we’re disinfecting POS and pin-pads between every single customer.

TRANSACTIONS


While we would love to be able to continue to use keep-cups (#savetheenvironment), due to the concern that handling the cups could increase transmission of the virus, we won’t be accepting keep cups until further notice.
